This fire sleeve is designed to protect hoses, wires and cables from molten metal splash, high heat hazards and occasional exposure to flame in steel plants, foundries, mining, offshore, aerospace, cutting and welding shops and wherever hoses, cables and wires may be exposed to high temperatures.
Heat resistance / Temperatures:
- 260°C continuous
- 1000 °C / 20 min
- 1600 °C / 30 sec
Safe-Fire tape (art. no SFS-TE3) is made of 100 % silicone rubber with heat resistance +260° C in continuous exposure. It is meant to seal the ends of fire sleeve and is available in 3 m rolls.
